möge es nun geschehen, daß das Mädchen, zu dem ich sagen werde: Neige doch deinen Krug, daß ich trinke und welches sagen wird: Trinke, und auch deine Kamele will ich tränken, diejenige sei, welche du für deinen Knecht, für Isaak, bestimmt hast; und daran werde ich erkennen, daß du Güte an meinem Herrn erwiesen hast.

Sea, pues, que la moza á quien yo dijere: Baja tu cántaro, te ruego, para que yo beba; y ella respondiere: Bebe, y también daré de beber á tus camellos: que sea ésta la que tú has destinado para tu siervo Isaac; y en esto conoceré que habrás hecho misericordia con mi señor.

Seja, pois, que a moça a quem eu disser: Baixa teu cântaro, te rogo, para que eu beba; e ela responder: Bebe, e também darei de beber a teus camelos: que seja esta a que tu destinaste para teu servo Isaque; e nisto conhecerei que haverás feito misericórdia com meu senhor.

Que aconteça assim. Quando eu disser para uma jovem mulher: 'Por favor, abaixa teu cântaro para que eu possa beber', e ela me disser: 'Bebe, e eu darei de beber aos teus camelos também', então, ela será a que o Senhor designou ao Teu servo Isaque. Assim, saberei que mostraste Tua benevolência para com meu senhor".
