And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

And when he was minded to pass over into Achaia, the brethren encouraged him, and wrote to the disciples to receive him: and when he was come, he helped them much that had believed through grace;

When he wanted to cross to Greece, the followers furthered his plans, and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. On his arrival he proved of great assistance to those who had, through the loving kindness of God, become believers in Christ,

Als er aber nach Achaja reisen wollte, schrieben die Brüder den Jüngern und ermahnten sie, ihn aufzunehmen. Dieser war, als er hinkam, den Glaubenden durch die Gnade sehr behilflich;

Y queriendo él pasar á Acaya, los hermanos exhortados, escribieron á los discípulos que le recibiesen; y venido él, aprovechó mucho por la gracia á los que habían creído:

E ele, querendo passar a Acaia, os irmãos o exortaram, e escreveram aos discípulos que o recebessem; o qual, tendo chegado, auxiliou muito aos que tinham crido pela graça.

Querendo passar pela Acaia, os irmãos o encorajaram e escreveram aos discípulos na Acaia que o recebessem. Quando ele chegou, ajudou imensamente aqueles que haviam crido pela graça.
