18Und Jojada legte die Ämter des Hauses Jehovas in die Hand der Priester, der Leviten, welche David über das Haus Jehovas abgeteilt hatte, um die Brandopfer Jehovas zu opfern, wie in dem Gesetz Moses geschrieben steht, mit Freuden und mit Gesang, nach der Anweisung Davids.
19Und er stellte die Torhüter an die Tore des Hauses Jehovas, daß keiner hineinginge, der irgendwie unrein wäre.
20Und er nahm die Obersten über hundert und die Vornehmen und die Gebieter im Volke, und alles Volk des Landes, und führte den König aus dem Hause Jehovas hinab, und sie kamen durch das obere Tor in das Haus des Königs; und sie setzten den König auf den Thron des Königreichs.
21Und alles Volk des Landes freute sich, und die Stadt hatte Ruhe. Athalja aber hatten sie mit dem Schwerte getötet.
