Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

“So you are a king after all!” exclaimed Pilate. “Yes, it is true I am a king,”answered Jesus. “I was born for this, I have come into the world for this — to bear testimony to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of truth listens to my voice.”

Da sprach Pilatus zu ihm: Also du bist ein König? Jesus antwortete: Du sagst es, daß ich ein König bin. Ich bin dazu geboren und dazu in die Welt gekommen, auf daß ich der Wahrheit Zeugnis gebe. Jeder, der aus der Wahrheit ist, hört meine Stimme.

Díjole entonces Pilato: ¿Luego rey eres tú? Respondió Jesús: Tú dices que yo soy rey. Yo para esto he nacido, y para esto he venido al mundo, para dar testimonio á la verdad. Todo aquél que es de la verdad, oye mi voz.

Disse-lhe pois Pilatos: Logo tu és Rei? Respondeu Jesus: Tu dizes que eu sou Rei. Para isto eu nasci, e para isto vim ao mundo: para dar testemunho à verdade. Todo aquele que é da verdade ouve minha voz.

Pilatos Lhe disse: "Então, Tu és um rei?". Jesus respondeu: "Tu dizes que sou rei. Para isto nasci e vim ao mundo, a fim de dar testemunho da verdade. Todo aquele que é da verdade ouve a Minha voz".
