Und David sprach: Salomo, mein Sohn, ist noch jung und zart; und das Haus, das dem Jehova zu erbauen ist, soll überaus groß werden, zum Namen und zum Ruhm in allen Ländern: so will ich denn das Nötige für ihn bereiten. Und so bereitete David Vorrat in Menge vor seinem Tode.

Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar á Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y preparó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.

E disse Davi: Salomão meu filho é jovem e tenro, e a casa que se há de edificar a o SENHOR há de ser magnífica por excelência, para nome e honra em todas as terras; agora pois eu lhe prepararei o necessário. E preparou Davi antes de sua morte em grande abundância.

Davi disse: "Meu filho Salomão é novo e sem experiência, e o Templo que será construído para Yahweh deve ser especialmente magnífico, de modo que seja famoso e glorioso em todas as outras terras. Então, eu prepararei para a construção". E Davi fez grandes preparativos antes de sua morte.
