Yahweh enviou um anjo para destruir Jerusalém; porém, quando ele estava prestes a destruí-la, Yahweh olhou e mudou Sua opinião sobre aquele castigo. Ele falou ao anjo destruidor: "Basta! Agora recolhe a tua mão". E, naquela hora, o Anjo de Yahweh estava em pé na eira de Ornã, o jebuseu.
