Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

“You would have no power over me at all,”answered Jesus, “if it had not been given you from above; and, therefore, the man who betrayed me to you is guilty of the greater sin.”

Jesus antwortete: Du hättest keinerlei Gewalt wider mich, wenn sie dir nicht von oben gegeben wäre; darum hat der, welcher mich dir überliefert hat, größere Sünde.

Respondió Jesús: Ninguna potestad tendrías contra mí, si no te fuese dado de arriba: por tanto, el que á ti me ha entregado, mayor pecado tiene.

Respondeu Jesus: Nenhum poder terias contra mim, se não te fosse dado de cima; portanto o que me entregou a ti tem maior pecado.

Jesus respondeu: "Tu não terias nenhum poder contra Mim, se não te fosse dado do alto. Por isso, quem Me entregou a ti tem pecado maior".
