Siehe, was ich als gut, was ich als schön ersehen habe: daß einer esse und trinke und Gutes sehe bei all seiner Mühe, womit er sich abmüht unter der Sonne, die Zahl seiner Lebenstage, die Gott ihm gegeben hat; denn das ist sein Teil.

He aquí pues el bien que yo he visto: Que lo bueno es comer y beber, y gozar uno del bien de todo su trabajo con que se fatiga debajo del sol, todos los días de su vida que Dios le ha dado; porque esta es su parte.

Eis o que eu vi, algo bom e belo: comer, beber, e experimentar o que é bom de todo o seu trabalho em que trabalhou abaixo do sol, durante os dias de sua vida, que Deus lhe deu; porque isto é a parte que lhe pertence.

Eis o que tenho visto: bom e adequado é comer e beber, e aproveitar o lucro de todo nosso trabalho, enquanto trabalhamos duro sob o sol durante os dias da vida que Deus nos deu, pois esta é a tarefa do homem.
