Und du sollst vor Jehova, deinem Gott, anheben und sprechen: Ein umherirrender Aramäer war mein Vater; und er zog nach Ägypten hinab und hielt sich daselbst auf als ein geringes Häuflein; und er wurde daselbst zu einer großen, starken und zahlreichen Nation.

Entonces hablarás y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Un Siro á punto de perecer fué mi padre, el cual descendió á Egipto y peregrinó allá con pocos hombres, y allí creció en gente grande, fuerte y numerosa:

Então falarás e dirás diante do SENHOR teu Deus: Um arameu a ponto de perecer foi meu pai, o qual desceu ao Egito e peregrinou ali com poucos homens, e ali cresceu em gente grande, forte e numerosa:

E, diante de Yahweh, teu Deus, dirás: 'Meu antepassado era um arameu errante. Desceu ao Egito e permaneceu lá, e seu povo era pequeno em número. Lá, ele se tornou uma nação grande, poderosa, e populosa.
