And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

And in my vision I saw a grey horse. His rider’s name was Death, and the Lord of the place of Death rode behind him; and power was given them over the fourth part of the earth, so that they might ‘destroy with sword and famine and death, and by means of the wild beasts of the earth.’

Und ich sah: und siehe, ein fahles Pferd, und der darauf saß, sein Name war Tod; und der Hades folgte ihm. Und ihm wurde Gewalt gegeben über den vierten Teil der Erde, zu töten mit dem Schwerte und mit Hunger und mit Tod und durch die wilden Tiere der Erde.

Y miré, y he aquí un caballo amarillo: y el que estaba sentado sobre él tenía por nombre Muerte; y el infierno le seguía: y le fué dada potestad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar con espada, con hambre, con mortandad, y con las bestias de la tierra.

E eu olhei, e eis um cavalo amarelo-esverdeado, e o que estava sentado sobre ele, seu nome era Morte; e o mundo dos mortos o seguia. E foi-lhes dada autoridade para matar a quarta parte da terra, com espada, com fome, com morte por doença ,e com os animais ferozes da terra.

E vi, e eis um cavalo amarelo, e o seu cavaleiro foi chamado de Morte, e o Hades o seguia. A eles foi dada autoridade sobre um quarto da terra para matar com espada, com fome, com mortandade, e com os animais selvagens da terra.
